Unagi & foie gras mille-feuille, tempura & yuzu sorbet from Torii Restaurant & Bar

As you can tell from my posts, Torii is one of hubs & my favourite places to go to. This time, we tried a couple of different items from the menu (as well as some of the usual ones 😉) & we also brought mum & sis with us.

This is the unagi & foie gras mille-feuille – layers of grilled unagi (eel), tamago (egg) omelette & foie gras stacked together making delicious mouthfuls of flavours & textures!

Tempura prawns, white fish & variety of vegetables. Yummy & crunchy with juicy seafood & vegetables & even better when dipped into the dashi broth!

Lastly, hubs’ new favourite, the yuzu sorbet. Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit which has the sweet fragrant of a mandarin & tangy taste of citrus. Very refreshing & great on a hot day!

Then of course, there were the usuals.. kaaraage, gyoza, seared A6 Wagyu beef with teriyaki sauce & drinks!
