Currumbin Sanctuary Markets

As most Friday nights, we are unavailable, we were looking for something to do during one of the rare Friday nights that we had free. Being open to suggestions, I posted a post on my Instagram account & got some great suggestions. One of them was the Currumbin Sanctuary Markets (follow them on Instagram @sanctuarymarkets), suggested by one of the food truck vendors Fire ‘N’ Dough Woodfire Pizzas (follow them on Instagram @firendough).

So off we went to check out something new & we loved it! There were a variety of stalls & we waited for a while at Fire ‘N’ Dough but the queue was very long & we were starving so we will visit them next time.

Hubs chose a bacon cheeseburger from Bondi Grill’d who also have a shop in Coolangatta.

I couldn’t go pass the Japanese okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes) stall where I got a teriyaki chicken & tofu okonomiyaki! Sooooo good!

After dinner, we chilled out on the wooden varandah overlooking the front half of the sanctuary under a heater with a beer & a warm mulled wine.

Then we got some sweet snacks of poffertjes (Dutch pancakes) & oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts) to go.

We will definitely be back again as there are so much more that we want to try!
