Citrus passionfruit loaf with citrus passionfruit icing

This was an adaptation of a butter cake recipe to include the citrus & passionfruit flavour. 

Cream 125 grams of butter, grated rind of an orange & a lemon, & 1 cup of sugar, then add 2 eggs & a dash of vanilla extract & half a cup of milk. Mix well, add 2 cups of self raising flour, stir still combined & lastly, stir in the pulp of 3 passionfruits. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes till golden brown. 

Mix a cup of icing sugar & the juice of half the orange, lemon & another passionfruit. Mix till combined & it is ready to pour over the loaf when cooked & cooled. I was a little impatient in waiting for my loaf to cool so the icing slid off the sides so I had to keep spooning it over the loaf as it slowly cooled. For me, it ended up more like a glaze than an icing due to my impatience… Oops!
