Easily enough made. Cut up a pear.. Usually quartered but I chopped it up for ease.. Then place in a bowl with a double boiler. I didn’t have one so I used a steamer tray which I placed in a pot of boiling water. Also place a few crystals of rock sugar in the bowl & ensure that the bowl is covered whether with the pot or steamer lid. The water from the steam & heat will melt the sugar & cook the pear allowing all the juice to mix with the sugar. When boiled, allow it to cool for a little bit but drink it warm.
