Using minced chicken, carrots & cabbage as a filling, this yummy wontons were created. I also seasoned the filling with light soy sauce, Chinese rice wine, white pepper & sesame oil. I allow the filling to marinate while waiting for my pot of water to boil. Once boiled, fold a bit of filling into store bought wonton skins & poo it straight into the pot of boiling water. When cooked, it will float to the top & remove with slotted spoon & serve. I usually add a bit of hot water into the bowl as well with sesame oil to make a “soup” & avoid the wontons from sticking to each other & drying out.
