Hubs’ birthday: Chef & Chef

For Hubs’ birthday, we went to Chef & Chef. On Tuesday nights (which this was), they serve a buffet for dinner. It is a great opportunity for anyone who hasn’t tried Malaysian cuisine or the restaurant to try a variety of their food.

The options include Mee goreng mamak (saucy fried noodles), nasi goreng (fried rice), beef rendang (dry beef curry), chicken curry, sambal egg, stirfry vegetables, coconut rice, teriyaki wings & dessert.

This is pengat which is a Malaysian dessert. It is bananas & sweet potatoes cooked in a brown sugar coconut milk.
